My provider is the owner, Dr. Philip Borders. I've been seeing him for about 9 or 10 years at both of his locations (Plainfield and Danville) and he's great. I've never had any problems with the office staff at either location. I can't say anything about the other providers, but I wanted to add my positive experiences. Great Doc, great staff, never rude.
Pam S, N.P. at Hendricks Therapy in Plainfield provided my family the worst service I have ever experienced in this type of of practice. We were looking for 2nd opinions. I have never felt so disrespected and overwhelmingly confused by her back and forth and rudeness. My child behaved tonight and yet she made her cry for getting up and looking out the window towards the end of our visit, and then got rude with me for asking a question in regards to why she said something in particular....and made my kid cry! Apparently, asking questions is undermining, even as a mother. I decided to leave, and then was advised to leave after I stood up and told my kid to 'come on'. When I expressed myself about her undeserved rudeness and how she treated us she told me she would call the cops if I didn't leave quietly! Are you kidding? 1. I am NOT that mean threatening person 2. My kid started crying and confused because she was being talked down to AFTER she had complied with the lady's directions!
My experience with this facility has been less than deplorable. My experience has been they get you in, get, get out and get your copay. I don't find my provider to be interested, caring, empatic, or to be quite honestly " give a crap' about my well being. I don't recommend them based on my own experience. That doesn't mean all their providers are the same as I only seen one. So, if you plan on on going there, I suggest doing your home work and don't settle for a nurse practitioner. Insist on a MD. I wish I had. I hope this provides food for thought. Thanks for letting me vent.
Dr. Borders and the staff are great. Ive been coming here for years and never had any problems.
My therapist (Dr Mulinix) is beyond compassionit and kind. Not to mention he's smart! The other secretaries are so nice! Be aware of Julie. Julie is the rudest woman I have ever encountered. She has been rude to me on multiple occasions and when checking out recently, the phone rang and she said 'Ugh Oh my God will it ever stop" while rolling her eyes. She is a horrible employee and they must be desperate to have her there. I once called to see if my Dr could get me a refill on a simple anti-depressant I've taken for yours. She told me over the phone : "Well, that's not my problem." with her smug little attitude. Avoid her at all costs. Hopefully they catch on and fire her!
Who makes a child feel bad like that? And who tells someone's kid that they are the parents boss, and it isn't work related?
