I was using their parking and shuttle service for IND airport. The check in was very quick and the shuttle came right away. Parking spaces were limited, but we were able to find one. I feel like the location is far enough from anything so that it is safe.
I very rarely write a bad review, but do NOT park here. The driver who took me to the airport was very nice, however, the driver who picked me up could not have been more rude. I called when i received my luggage, 12:05PM on 15Aug. I could not understand the driver, asked him to slow down, He said he was at the airport. I told him I would be there right away as I already had my luggage and was at the door. I went as fast as I could got to the hotel pick up area and could not find him. I called again (phone rings about 10 times before he picks up. this is every phone call), and asked where he was as I was at the area. He said ya, ya ,ya, my people did not want to wait so I left. So, I waited 20 minutes and he still did not come. I called him again and he answered ya, ya ,ya I be right there. I called again after 10 minutes and he said again, ya, ya ,ya I be there in 5 minutes. He did finally show up. At this point it was 12:45PM. I was the only one in the van and he watches a musical video on his cell phone during the entire drive, entering I 70 and all. I was scared, but he was so nasty I was afraid to say anything or he might dump me on the side of the road. When we arrived at the hotel, I was parked right at the entrance a few feet from the van. It was windy and raining. He got my luggage out of the van, set it behind the van and disappeared into the hotel. Did not even offer to put the luggage in my trunk which I had open. I am a 77 year old women and usually people are willing to help me when there is heavy luggage involved. I went into the Cambria Suites to report him to a manager, but he was the only one there besides a cleaning lady I saw with a bag of trash. All in all, the cell phone use is very bothersome and dangerous. I always look for an inexpensive place to park when I travel, but never this place again.
It was nicer than many Super8 hotels I've been to. The general quality and cleanliness of the room and building were very good, especially for the price range. Staff wasn't particularly friendly or unfriendly. Bathroom felt a little small, but was nice. Good hot water and water pressure. Comfortable bed. Good AC. Overall, for the price range, I'd give a pretty strong recommend.
I come down to Plainfield for my National Guard duties, and I bring my family with. We always look for hotels with pools for the little ones and that was one of the main reasons we decided to come here. When we rented a room we were not told the pool would be unavailable, and when we complained about the unreasonable prices due to the pool being unavailable and never brought up we were told by the woman on shift “then go across the street”. I can’t believe this is how we were treated as guest, I don’t recommend this place to anyone and I will not be returning. Book your hotels in advance there are bigger and cleaner places at better prices!
customer service sure isn't a priority....motel 6 was so helpful. I made reservations for a room and somehow was off by a nite, would not help 1 bit, even though they pulled the money out of the bank....called motel 6 and they was really nice and understood and gave me a room for $20 and some change after I showed them where I made the reservations and super 8 wouldn't help. never again.
