We waited for about 15 minutes to be seated that's fine Waited 5 to 10 minutes to be waited on Then they lost our order It was almost an hour or so before we got our order Bob Evans Plainfield was really nice to give us a piece of pie for later Should have discounted our bill Probably be awhile before we go back
If you're looking for bland processed food, this is the place for you. If not, do yourself a favor and just go to Cracker Barrel. I know I wish I had.
Worst experience ever. Never offered the choose 3 for all our dinner choices; we had to ask. One from our party never got his 2nd side. We ordered root beer, the waitress asked if we wanted Dr. Pibb; we said sure. We asked for a refill, which took forever. Once we got the refill, it was root beer. So I asked if they had root beer, just to see what the waitress would say.... this was her response.... "no. We don't have rootbeer.... there's a lot of things on the menu we don't have". I said "but, you brought root beer out this time! We couldn't believe it. Then we asked for dessert. 2 of us wanted them to go, 2 of us wanted to eat it there. Oh my goodness, that put her over the edge. She said "I'm so confused". I asked how come we never got our dinner rolls with our dinners. She said "I don't think you get dinner rolls". All dinners come with dinner rolls..... It even says it in.the menu. We have 2 fish fry dinners, one Turkey dinner and a pot roast dinner. Clearly this waitress should've never been on her own or maybe should get a job that she actually wants to do. Never once did she say, "I'll go ask". Then to tip it off, we were never asked how our food was or even a thank you when I paid my bill. We'll be going elsewhere the next time we come to town! Very poor!
Our office is close to this Bob Evans and we have ordered online a few times and went to pick it up. They never get our order correct. I do not recommend this location. Poor service! We will not be coming back. Management needs to get it together and double check people's orders if their hourly employees cannot handle it. Smh...
I haven't been in a couple of years but it definitely wasn't up to my expectations. My omelet was very greasy. Nothing tasted as good as I remember except for the biscuits.
