Plainfield's Bru Burger location is family friendly and offers a wonderful experience. This is a great place for Sunday football.
In short, service sucks and not valued as a customer = no customer.
Great outdoor seating area. Burgers are good. Beer is a bit pricey for the size of the glass. Fries, not so great. Atmosphere is good, food seems average.
Half full restaurant w/ staff floating everywhere. We were seated in 5 minutes but got tired of waiting for service. We were seated for 1 Minute and the waiter came and got the previous customers bill on the table, but no show after 10 minutes sitting. No drink request no hi, I will be with you in a minute. Really? So we got up and left, with a have a nice day from the host on our way out. I'll get a good burger elsewhere.
I had the wings and they were good. Surprised you can't get traditional buffalo though which I would've preferred. The curry was OK. The little salad that comes with the wings need to be made with either Ranch or Blue Cheese. Blue cheese only makes no sense when you are offered Ranch or Blue cheese dipping sauce. I do not like Blue cheese at all so the whole salad was a waste for me. Wife had the Spaniard burger and she liked it a lot. The long plate sure looks empty though with just a burger. For the cost of the burger you'd think they could add some chips at least to fill out the aesthetics? It's seems odd that the wings as an appetizer comes with the little salad and the burger which is an entree does not. Service was very good although the server had no idea what Ramesco was, still don't. Very nicely designed restaurant.
The food looked great. However it did not tase great. The bottom bunk was soggy and the burger was bland and needed salt. I can not speak for the rest of the menu as I have only eaten one burger.
