Tasty food (I got a patty melt and fries) and great service (they actually talk to you like a human being instead of rushing you through everything). Will definitely be back. They also had holiday music on, which I appreciated, but might not be everyone's cup of tea.
Well, the Biscuits & Gravy Were HANDS DOWN, the ABSOLUTE BEST Biscuits & Gravy I have EVER eaten in ANY restaurant! The Biscuits were fluffy and the gravy was as authentic Sausage gravy as mine!! We all were EXTREMELY satisfied with all the food and this EXCELLENT GEM of a restaurant! Our waitress was very attentive and very sweet! We plan on going back for lunch tomorrow!!
My husband and I both had great meals and definitely lived up to our expectations of homestyle diner food. His steak was not cooked quite as he requested but overall still had great food. We enjoyed the diner ambience as well!
If I could give this place ten stars, I would!!
My husband, a friend of ours and myself came in at lunch and all of us chose breakfast meals!! We were ALL pleasantly surprised with The amount of food !! It was absolutely ridiculous and INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS!! I even tried some of my husband's phenomenal pancakes W/Bacon Syrup! It was incredible! We can tell the pancakes are homemade & not from a box mix!! We are all Southern and know what Homemade Biscuits & Gravy should taste like; ( I'm a Southern Cook & have been called a Biscuits & Gravy snob)
Been here twice and love it. Great atmosphere to the place and a fair amount of history to it. Had the Quaker Burger both times and was amazed. One of the best burgers I have ever had and certainly did not leave hungry. Staff was very friendly and service was great even though it was a little busy. Would definitely recommend going here and I plan on going back again.
Place is quaint, that matches the town. Food was generous and delicious. Service a little slow, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. We read the whole menu and decided on our meal before the server came to our table. She was near us on 2 occasions but didn't acknowledge us until she came to take our order. A "I'll be right with you" would have made the difference.
