Even though they were busy, (didn’t feel like it) fast friendly service. Clean. Big portions. I had the pot roast. My husband had the Western omelette. Loved the way they did their mashed potatoes! I would recommend this in a heartbeat.

I have tried to submit this twice so please disregard if it’s received more than once. I came into metro for my first time to try the food on advice from a colleague. I heard nothing but positivive things so I decided to try it. However this will be the first and more than likely the last time I step foot into your establishment. The food was great ( I had the omelette that had salsa on top , sorry I cannot recall the name on the menu) ; however the older gentleman that works in the kitchen is extremely rude, loud, and unprofessional to the staff in the kitchen. I was told that the guy is the kitchen manager. (Rob or Bob). If this is the type of management you have trying to operate the kitchen in your establishment I feel very reluctant to see myself coming back or referring anyone I know to dine at your establishment. I don’t see how anyone can produce quality work or for that matter feel confident in their work ability with a manager (and I use that term loosely) being so harsh and rude. I was told metro was a warm and inviting place but first impressions are everything and my first impression was although the food was good and the ambiance of the place was warm and inviting , the kitchen dictator has made me lose any desire to return.
We went on a Saturday night and had to wait. They said 15-20, and they hit it. Tables were turning over well, and everything was very clean. Didn't have to wait long after ordering to get our food. The food was excellent all around, and the staff helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely be going back. The prices might look a little high, dinners go from $9-16, but the portions are big. Remember to bring your appetite!
Service was wonderful. Their peach tea was a real treat. Didn't need any sweetener. I had the Tenderloin sandwich with grilled Vegetables. It was really, really good. Portions are huge..I got a to go box and brought half of it home. I was with 5 other people and we got different things. All were great. Not to expensive either. Great experience. I would recommend this restaurant to any one.
